Fireteam in Combat Arms is a PVE setting
You and 7 Teammates will face off Hordes of AI bots with unlimited grenades.
This guide will supply you with many tips and tricks as well as a walk though.

    What to bring ?
Assault Rifles: M416, M4a1, G36e, K2, FAMAS, AUG A1 pretty much any low recoil scoped AR
Many people say one should bring a sniper. From experience sniper's (from now on SR) are handy however any ammo you pick up WILL NOT replenish snipers or MG's.
A sniper will give you a max of 40 shots, and a AR is 120 shots.
Now if your a good shot the amount of enemies to can kill with and AR is far superior.
    However it's your choice.
Also pack you M16 its a good (i use "good" loosely, more like better than a pistol) back up weap and you can "borrow" fallen teammates weaps.

    General tips
-Enemies drop grenades a lot -watch out
-When in tight spaces watch who your teammates a killing near you.
they may kill an AI guy that will drop a nade without you knowing, and this may result in your death.
-Ditch your M16 for a better AR/SR if your teammates goes down.
-Don't be a pansy, play on extreme.
-Don't be a jerk and take the health pack, ask you teammates if they need it first (exception being that if you yourself have under 30 hp)
-and finally don't be a douche and leave when you die. :)

    Enemies
Regular- Cannon fodder, will go down in a few hits only poses a threat in large numbers and can score headshots and nutshots. Also he drops/throws nades. Drops Ammo.
RPG- Arguably the most dangerous, when you see one take him down ASAP, drops health and ammo + nades.
Elite- Tougher than the regular drops nades when they die, but also drops Ammo, Ammo + nades and occasionally health.
    Photos coming soon.

    Drops photos incoming
Enemies will drop 3 different items
    1. Ammo (yellow package) Will refill the ammo of the AR you are using (it will not refill any weapons in your backpack, nor SR or MG)
    2. Ammo + Grenades (red package) Will refill all your ammo (even for SR's and MG's) and your grenades
    3. Health (green package) The most rare, it will replenish all of your health
Special thanks to CheapeSkater for suggesting this section.
Special thanks to Ashwin for confirming the effect of the Red package.

    Walkthough Intro
The map can be divided into five parts
    Intro-Temple-Tank-A/B/C-Finally
    View attachment 133
    Intro
Work your way down the street, enemies will spawn in several places
    View attachment 131
I find the best way to pass this part is to "rush" in to the brick pile/wall (1) on your right, and snipe with your AR (2). When Rushing watch out for AI spawning behind the columns.
    View attachment 132
Jump over the destroyed wall and go to the door, enemies should stop spawning. let you team mop the remaining enemies.

    Temple
Open the big wooden doors and dispose of the two enemies inside.
make you way carefully to the door ways and snipe.
Be careful because enemies will spawn near the door way (one or the other)
As you enter the court yard clear the snipers on the second level and DON"T TOUCH THE GATES.
Up on the second Floor and to your right you'll see the laser beams of mines.
On the upper laser beam it will go to the column so can angle yourself in such a way to see the mine, shoot it ( the shot is easier with a sniper but totally possible with an AR)
The resulting explosion will cause the floor to collapse. Running up the rubble will cause the door to open and the "elite Sand Hog guard" will attack. Take cover and snipe away, try to take out the RPG guys first.
When the wave finishes make your way up the rubble, take out your knife run and jump. Part of the floor is sticking out, use it as a "step". It will take you a few tries (especially on your first time) don't give up.
    View attachment 134
Also don't worry if you don't save the guy. Carry on solider!

    Tank
As you leave the temple, if you have a SR snipe the people on the Bus, if you don't
your life will be harder. Go down the alley way don't stay open and snipe, pop out from cover and take a shot then get back to cover. When you make to the end of the alley take note of the ledge running under the windows, kill the three enemies at the top of the stairs (ever careful of the nades) and run along the ledge (back toward the street. to get past the windowsills you can move just a bit to the left and get past them. As you round the corner on the ledge watch out for snipers in the opposite building.
    View attachment 135
Now time to kill the tank jump up on top knife the open panel till flames start spewing then jump on the bus and finish it with a pistol. Don't forget to inform your buddies that the tank is done. Brace yourself for a wave of enemies.

This picture shows good spots to "hide"
A is my fav, however you must kills the RPG's guys first from that spot.
Other spots include in the bus, behind the bus and beside the tank.
After you eliminate all the enemies go around the corner

    A/B/C
The next part divides into three parts.
When you save the guy you'll get the location of the information.
However if you didn't you'll have to find it on your own.
This is one of the most important tips in this walk though
If you didn't save the guy to figure you where to go look for the UAV, it will hover
    over the the correct target.

So proceed to your target either A, B or C

    A
A is regarded as the easiest of the three. Make your way to the right, the building at the end of the street is your target. Every open window will contain a sniper.
Stand behind the brick pile and snipe. After several snipers are killed and some one advances on the building RPG guys will appear in the windows. If one person advances, and the others stay back, the RPG guys shouldn't be a problem.
When you go in the building, be careful, kill one guy then back up, wash rinse repeat. When you clear the upstairs don't go for the computer(marked by the "C"), go outside onto the open part, there's two "Elite sand hog guards" kill them, then go for the computer.
Red "X" are estimated enemy spawns.
    View attachment 136
    B
B goes right down the middle, as you round the corner 8-9 enemies will spawn as well as snipers in the open windows. Then go down the stairs be careful when you open the door, i suggest opening it then running back up, then killing one guy, back up, wash rinse repeat. When the room appears to be clear on the right is a wall with a crack in it ( marked by the circle) there will be at least one enemy behind it. Then on your left there's a closed door be careful, that door will burst open when you approach it. Trigger it and pull back (marked by the "X in a Box"). After that's done, go though the doorway on your right there are two doors one right in front of you and a metal one. Open the metal one there will be a few enemies behind it. then when ready get one of your teammates to line up in the first small room as you open the final door. Dispose of the guards then boot up the computer (marked by the "C").
Red "X" are estimated enemy spawns.
Blue lines represent a door that need to be opened.
    View attachment 137
    C
C is to the far right, work your way around the first corner, in directly in front of you several enemies will spawn. After you dispose of them, around the next corner is a RPG guy running away from you, kill him before he reaches the end of the road. As you advance down the road, it will trigger a spawn. Then turning right at the corner will trigger another spawn, then in the "pen" now on your left yet another spawn. Finally you'll reach the building, open the door clear the next three rooms, then in the court yard there'll be an enemy in the corner (see diagram). When you reach the court yard snipers will spawn on the roofs of adjacent houses. After you've cleared that, moving to the doorway will (you guessed it) trigger a spawn of "elite" sand hog guards (marked by the "X in a box"), clear them, then the next two around the corner then boot up the computer.
Red "X" are estimated enemy spawns.
Blue lines represent a door that need to be opened.
    TankK.jpg

    Finally

Well you made it to the last battle. Depending on where your coming from (A/B/C) you'll face different enemies.
A/B Moving towards the arrow, you'll come across a row of columns, don't hide behind them yet.
Where will (most of the time) be a spawn there. Trigger it, dispose of the enemies, and take up positions around the columns.
(at this point there may have also been a spawn on the roof of an adjacent building)
The enemies will target the person closest to the spawn, so take that into account when taking cover.
Now let one person go towards the arrow and trigger the last spawn.
The main strategy is to wait for enemies to round the corner and head shot them.
You should have at least 3-4 minutes left which is plenty of time, just sit wait and snipe.

    C. C is slightly different, when you open the garage door, there will be enemies down the street to your right.
When you've disposed of them, take cover in the garage.
Now let one person go towards the arrow and trigger the last spawn.
The main strategy is to wait for enemies to round the corner and head shot them.
(from the angle at C, you'll have a longer/narrower view into the spawn)
You should have at least 3-4 minutes left which is plenty of time, just sit wait and snipe.

Watch your radar, sometimes enemies will come from behind.
When there seems to be no enemies coming from the spawn, check your radar (so you and estimate the number of "tangos")
move up and finish them off. Then plant the bomb on the gate.
    Congats! you've beat Fireteam
    On normal you get XP-GP
On Hard you get XP-GP and a white Shemagh (25% resistance to head shots)
But because you're not a pansy, on extreme you get XP-GP and Black Shemagh (35% resistance to head shots)

    Fall out solider!

Hmm, I skimmed through the guide, and i'd have to say, the detail on the enemies is impressive. Give a couple tips on equipment and on stuff like...what the boxes do. Any stuff like that :p

why do people make like 3 different posts in one thread reserved for the same guide?

People make 3 reserved post in the same guide because there's a limit to the amount
of pictures you can put on a single post and the creator doesn't have time to type it all out in one sitting, therefore he doesn't want people's post in between the sections of the guide!
That's why people put 3 post reserved for a guide!

Images are too short. And they need to have better quality. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE For a good screenshot. Open in Paint. Once opened in Paint, save it as a .PNG

Open it up with Tinypic Or Photobucket (Optional) and crop it until you get what you need.

Other than that. Cool guide dude.

Yeah, i was thinking about that.
the original screen shots are 1680 x 1050
So the quality is fine, its just when i made it smaller i made it too small, and didn't save the quality very high.
I'll probably redo the pictures when i've finished writing.
    Thanks for the feedback!

I thought the images look fine (Why hit Ctrlaltdel when you can just hit Print Scrn?)

Does it matter which side of the temple balcony/catwalk you collapse? Most commonly, the left side (as you walk in) gets collapsed. But I've been in a bunch of games where someone collapses the right side. I, for one, have NEVER been able to jump up on the right side. "Luckily" some idiot always opens the gates at that point and I just run up the old-fashioned way.

I always urge people to collapse the left side, but they tend to listen about as much as they do when people say, "NO GATES!"

On a side note, does anyone else encounter people who close the Temple doors? As we're taking out the first AI guys inside the temple, sometimes someone will push the doors closed. Frequently with [lagging] players still outside. Is this just moronic or is there some reason for closing those doors?
